Nevertheless, we're still interested in hearing from those interested in us and our mission to change the way we relate to politics. We're a small team located in Washington, D.C. dedicated to increasing engagement and interactivity in politics. We believe in hard work, an unending devotion to users, having fun, and a belief that the work we do will make the world a better place. A Little More Detail...

Yes, we have a sweet gameplan and we're steadily moving toward achieving it. But, we're also open to hearing new ideas and executing on them.

We are seeking self-starters and creative thinkers who understand the devotion needed for a startup (weekends and nights usually needed). We also enjoy Wii-breaks in the wii hours of the morning and try not to take ourselves too seriously (although changing the world always seems serious).

• Software Developers - BS or MS in Computer Science (or related experience). Must have demonstrated experience with J2EE (Servlets + JSP, MVC architecture, custom tags), JavaScript (AJAX, clearly), XML, HTML + CSS, SQL. Experience with other web-programming/scripting languages is a plus, as is familiarity with DWR and memcached. Must be familiar with scalability and flexibility requirements of high-performance web-applications.
