Have Questions?
Learning politics is like learning a sport. Baseball shouldn't be
taught with a rulebook, and neither should politics.
Fantasy Congress is like fantasy football, but instead of
drafting football players, you draft Members of Congress (MCs). Each
team scores points based on the real-life performance of the MCs. Students learn
about the legislative process and research with real-time tools.
Fantasy Congress is Schoolhouse Rock for the 21st century. Our hope is
that if students cared about government as much as they care about
sports, then we would have a better government.
Research - Look under Find Now in the menu bar for all of the resources
illuminating the legislative process, votes, partisanship, news, and what our community thinks is important.
Fantasy Politics - Play Fantasy Politics through Fantasy Congress and
get students engaged in the actual ongoings of Congress.
Lesson Plans - Use our wiki to share tips and lesson plans with other educators (Coming REALLY REALLY Soon!)
- Create a Class - Follow the links below to get your class up and running
- Add a League - From the Class page you can create a league for your class
- Send your Students to FC - Point your students to http://www.fantasycongress.com/edu so they can sign up too!
Learning about government can be fun; teachers will be great at teaching it,
and hopefully we can help.
